You can find our Guide to the Gardens here.
We also have guides to the Wattles in Flower showing just which wattles you should be able to find in flower during your visit.
There is also a guide to the Oaks in the garden showing just how many species we have represented here and where to find them.
For those interested in the history of the Gardens, one of our members, Helen Paatsch, has written a book "For the Pleasure of the People" which can be obtained from Blanes Newsagency in Colac.
For any enquiries use the email below or write to us at PO Box 403 Colac Victoria 3250
We are always looking for volunteers to help us make our vision a reality. We'll help you find a way to volunteer that best suits you. It may be in our Potting Group, as a tour guide or a committee member helping to guide us to our future activities. Its up to you.
We hope you enjoy your visit. Come again soon.
The Gardens are open to visit any time during daylight hours. Enjoy a relaxed walk. If you come on the 4th Wednesday of most months between 10am and noon, you will find some of us potting cuttings in the Council depot area at the eastern end. Call in and maybe buy a plant or two as well.
1 Fyans Street, Colac Victoria 3250, Australia
Donations towards improving the Gardens are always most welcome, but should be made to Colac Otway Shire Council who must approve any changes or additional plantings. Contact the Council directly if you wish to donate. We are always happy to discuss any ideas you might have before talking to the Council.
